St. Berthold

I have been very jealous for the Lord, the God of hosts.

A crusader who after the horrors of war sought peace with God. On Mount Carmel, where the prophet Elijah once lived, he founded a community of hermits from which the Carmelites grew. A place of war can become a place of prayer.
