St. David of Wales

St. David of Wales

bishop, patron of Wales · c. 500 – 589
Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things that you have seen and heard from me.
— Last sermon, according to his Life

A Welsh monk and bishop who lived a very strict life, yet taught people joy and faithfulness in little things. The Welsh still repeat his last words. Holiness is made of little things done with love.
