St. Martin de Porres

Love is patient, love is kind.

The son of a Spanish nobleman and a former slave from Lima. Because of his dark skin he was for a long time accepted in the friary only as a servant. He cared for the sick, the poor and even animals with such love that the whole city loved him. Humility and love overcome prejudice.
