St. Maurus

Lead me in the path of your commandments.

A Benedictine monk of Pannonhalma whom King Stephen knew as a boy and admired for his purity. He became Bishop of Pécs and wrote the life of Sts. Zorard and Benedict – the oldest text about saints from Slovakia. The memory of the saints is a gift for future generations.
