St. Bruno

priest, founder of the Carthusians · c. 1030 – 1101
Be still, and know that I am God.
— Ps 46:11

A respected professor in Reims who left fame behind and went with six companions into the wild mountains of the Chartreuse. There he founded the Carthusians, who still live in silence and solitude today. Even the pope called him as an adviser. Silence is God's language.
