St. Hyacinth

priest, Dominican, apostle of the North · 1185 – 1257
Go into all the world and preach the gospel.
— Mark 16:15

A Polish priest who received the habit from St. Dominic himself. He tirelessly founded friaries from Kraków to Kyiv. According to legend, during a Tatar attack he rescued the Eucharist and a heavy statue of the Virgin, which became light in his hands. What you carry out of love is not heavy.
