St. Pier Giorgio Frassati
Verso l'alto – To the heights!
— Written on a photo of him in the mountains
A son of a wealthy Turin family who loved the mountains and his friends and secretly gave everything he had to the poor. He died at 24 of an illness he probably caught while serving the needy. Holiness can be an adventure.
