O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth!

A deacon of Nisibis known as the “harp of the Holy Spirit.” He composed hymns so that people might understand the faith by singing it. During a famine in Edessa he organised help for the sick and hungry. The beauty of a song can open the heart to God.
