Modern man listens more willingly to witnesses than to teachers, and if he does listen to teachers, it is because they are witnesses.

The pope who completed the Second Vatican Council and was the first pope to fly to every continent. He carried difficult decisions and was misunderstood by many. The world today needs not sermons but witnesses.
